Hello everyone! I've been in B'kok for nearly a couple of months. I love Thailand, its people, Thai food and phaasa Thai.
Dichan chop phaasa thai kha!
I'm just a beginner but I'm loving it. I quite like this site too!
The only problem is... I don't have any friends!
I mean, I know a few people but nobody I can call 'a friend'.
Maybe I'm challenged when it comes to making friends.
I hope someone breaks the jinx soon!

My name is john, I'm 65 live in england ,milton keynes,like yourself I fell in love with the whole thai way of life,after a few holidays there(althougt I know there is much more to learn about them ) but what I have seen so far is a very friendly and accomadating people , but under it all a sadness that comes from a very hard life for most thais, when I return later this year I will be traveling by train and push bike around eastern thai ,hopeing to see a bit more than the usual tourest places,like yourself I am trying my best to speak as much as I can ,seems the older you get the more difficult it is to retain as much,you say you are in bbk are you now living there or on holiday??and where are you from ,hopefully we can be friend and maybe help each other in the ways of the beautil thai people sawadee kap John

seems like it will be too soon 'til we become friends..You can call me nell and i'm 16..i've also been here in thailand, for almost 8 months already,,i guess..and still i don't have any thai friends except for the people in the school i am working. I was planning to study here but was unable to enrol since i can't speak thai..
i live here in lamphun..northern part of thailand.,i can already speak, read and write a few thai because of this site..just 'pm me if you wanna be friends with me..
