A teacher of English with stress on speech rather than grammar I struggle to understand the Thai language. I have visited this site for the past 3 years as a check against Google and Bing translations when trying to define English - Thai translations; I overlooked thai-language.com as a learning resource. Determined to overcome my ignorance of Thai I decided to more completely explore this site - I am surprised with it's wealth of knowledge - and decided to use it to learn the language... HELP!!!

To me, when learning a language, although consulting useful resources is a good way, trying to get to the meaning on your own is the best start.
