สวัสดีค่ะ!

Postby thaigirlmiki » Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:43 pm

Hello! How is everyone? I am ThaiGirlMiki, but you can just call me Miki for short. I joined the forums because at the end of March I will be traveling to Thailand on a high school student exchange program for a whole year! With that being said, I think it's a good idea for me to learn at least a bit of Thai before I go there. So far, I know about 50 words and phrases, but I hope to know at least 100-150 phrases before I go. Maybe even 200 if possible. 555

I also have a blog that I will be updating while I am on my cultural journey living in Thailand. You can find it here if you want to learn about Thailand while I do: http://thaigirlmiki.blogspot.com

Thank you all in advancement for helping me! :D

What a great opportunity. I spent one of the best times of my life (a year) in Thailand.

you are very lucky. Thailand is a great place. The language is a little difficult for a Westerner to grasp, but if you know that much already, you should have no problem. Good luck, I hope you enjoy it.
