Hi there!

I am a complete novice...but I have recently started a relationship with a Thai girl. We didn't meet in Thailand (I've never been...) but here in the UK, where I live and she studies. She speaks very, very good English and communication is never a problem.

But I just think if I'm going to be serious about her, I should at least make the effort, even if I never actually use it day to day. Plus it would make meeting her friends/family a lot easier and I might be able to get the jist of the conversations that go on.

So hopefully see you around and I'll pop on whenever I have questions!

Welcome to this wonderful site !
We all have been complete novices in learning thai language and found it was not easy but quite possible.
Even if your Thai girl friend is very good at English, it is a good idea to learn thai since you will probably visit Thailand in the next future.
