Thanks; so in the following sentence:

ฤดูฝนเริ่มต้นราวเดือนพฤษภาคม พอถึงเดือนตุลาคมก็หมดฤดูฝน

Can I just skip the word coloured red without affecting the meaning of the whole sentence? Thanks for your advice.

ก็ is a conjunction. So, you want to reduce the sentence หมดฤดูฝน to หมด? I think หมด needs its subject.

In this case, can you suggest any pronouns to replace it?

Why use ไป as a pronoun here?

I this case, ไป is not a pronoun, just an idiomatic word to make the sentence more complete

I think that มัน is the only possible pronoun :
.....มันจะหมด > มันจะหมดไป > มันจะหมดไปแล้ว

native's opinion would be fine !

Quite so.

ก็หมดไป is a sentence clause in its own right, with the implied subject of มัน in [มัน] ก็หมดไป .

ไป is an auxiliary verb that follows the main verb, here หมด .
It essentially extends the action of หมด 'to exhaust a set', here the set of days that make up the ฤดูฝน .

ไป in หมดไป indicates that the exhausting of the set of days (in the ฤดูฝน) goes all the way.
