Mouths and Eyes

Postby David and Bui » Tue Jun 26, 2007 5:15 pm

From the Thai-Language.com dictionary:

สิบปากว่าไม่เท่าตาเห็น:

And from today's The Nation:
in connection with a former Thai prime minister and the purchase of an English football club:

"As our ancestors used to say: "Ten mouths testifying do not equal what an eye sees". Love him or hate him, everyone should have a chance to experience Thaksin firsthand."

Kudos to Glenn Slayton and his staff for adding lots of Thai proverbs to the T-L.com dictionary.

Mouths and Eyes

Proper credit goes to Suphawut (Bryan) Wathabunditkul for those additions. Before his disappearance he was crucial to the development of this site to its current state. We miss you Bryan! :)
