Thanks for the reference. Proverbs and sayings are not only pithy expressions of truths, but tell us a lot about the culture from which they arise. Are you familiar with the book "บ่อเกิดสำนวนไทย"? Do you think it would be helpful to have a wider, English-speaking audience have access to the cultural sources of Thai proverbs?
