living language =/= dead language

Thai words and their origins

living language =/= dead language

I cannot find the word for living language in thai.

ภาษาสูญพันธุ์ = ภาษาสูญหาย > ภาษาตาย =/= ???

extinct language > dead language =/= living language

If we translate them according to the definition of each words, then it would be;

dead langauge - ภาษาที่ไม่มีใครนำมาใช้พูดกันอีก

living language - ภาษาที่ใช้กันอยู่ในปัจจุบัน

But in some discussions, they would be translated to ภาษาที่สูญพันธุ์ or ภาษาตาย for dead language, and ภาษาที่มีชีวิต for living language.
