Twitter talk

Postby Rick Bradford » Tue Aug 30, 2011 3:04 am

A recent article in Khao Sot discussed a minor Twitter scandal:

Some words:

tweet=ทวีต
Twitter=ทวิตเตอร์ *
account=แอคเคาต์
login=ล็อกอิน
status=สเเตตัส
Facebook=เฟซบุ๊ก *
follower=คนฟอลโล่
to save (a message) =เซฟ (ข้อความ)
to post=โพสต์ *

* in the site dictionary already

Are there plenty more new words relating to social media.......?

Thank you, Rick. I will include these in the T-L.com dictionary and show them under the "Category", "IT, Computer, and the Internet."

And a newbie to Twitter -- นักทวิตมือใหม่

(source: Khao Sot)

PS: It sounds rather amusing to English speakers, to whom a 'twit' is a gauche idiot, or fool.
