Quotation origin.

Postby Toffeeman » Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:28 am

"The highest purpose of education is to allow our youth to become mature adults both emotionally and intellectually."

This quotation appears as an example sentence here: http://www.thai-language.com/id/213639

I have to do a 30 min presentation in Thai about the subject of education and would like to know who said this quote, when and under what circumstances. If anyone knows it would be very helpful

Or if anyone knows any quotes or promises about education during the campaigning for last years national election that also would be helpful.

I got it from this page :

http://health.phahol.go.th/index.php?op ... Itemid=440

Thx Nan. I see the quote is in quotation marks. So they have quoted it from somewhere else. I guess it could be a long trail. I was hoping it might be a well known quote from somebody in the past but I guess not.
