The exclamation แหม - some Thais I've talked to say it's used by both males and females. Others say by ผู้หญิง กับ เก กะเทย แล้วก็ผู้ชายใจเป็นหญิงด้วย.
Can anyone give any more info on who uses this คำอุทาน?

แหม is just exclamations before someone will express his/her feeling about something (complaining, reproaching, or even just greeting etc.)
[It’s oh, ah a cry expressing surprise, complain etc. in English]
แหม วันนี้แต่งตัวสวยจริงนะ (Oh! You are dressed to kill today!)
แหม ไม่ได้เรื่อง (Ah! What a nonsense!)
แหม ช่วยหน่อยไม่ได้หรือ (But why couldn’t you help?)
แหม…คำว่า “แหม” นี่ ผู้หญิงผู้ชายก็ใช้ได้ทั้งนั้นแหละครับ
(Ah….”แหม” could be used by both male and female.)
