Sorry, not quite. At least from the grammar stand point, and if you really read into the sentence, it could have different meaning.

The word กว่า is equivalent to "more than". If you put it in a different place it could mean a little different, ie. five times more than,
more than five times; three years more than, more than three years.
Further, the word กว่า must follow the modifier immediately and it should be followed by another noun to form a comparative adverb ie. hotter, faster, better, sooner, later etc.

example, Today is hotter and yesterday three times. (literally)
