A link is available to a tru;ly legnthy list of Thai abbreviaitons, probably exceeding the list of 466 in the Refences section.

It still doesn't tell me what the ... is or was. There are some references to it in the examples in the 26-year old Peace Corps/Thailand Northern-Central Thai Dictionary. Probably the most informative example is หมูกู้ใดหยะเอาคืนหื้อ ล... 'Which pair of pigs should be returned to the ..?'

The abbreviation list is standard Thai only - or, if there are exceptions, I haven't seen any.

Lol we should make a rule. If you can't understand a Thai word which has a or always check if there is a word with the other one.
