Howdy,

Real quick: do you pronounce อาดูร (as in ความอาดูร meaning lament) as อา-ดูน or as อา-ดู-ระ?? Thanks!

Meaning เดือดร้อน The RID says อาดุระ, อาดูร [-ดูน] so as spelt; your first guess.

Likewise, my "New Age" dictionary shows the same.

I'm sure there might be exceptions, but a final ร won't be pronounced as ระ in 99.9% of the time.

It can be pronounced as "อา-ดู-ระ" only when it compounded with another word.
