Thai language on Pocket PC

Hope this answer didn't come too late.

If you're using MS Windows and have Thai font installed on your PC
1. Navigate to C:\windows\Fonts folder
2. Copy the Thai font file and paste it into the \windows\Fonts folder in your mobile PC

It works with my mobile PC running Windows Mobile 5
Hope this help

สวัสดิครับ!

There is an easy way to enable Thai fonts and Language support on nearly every Windows Mobile Device starting with WM5.

Just get the .cab File at http://files.pdamobiz.com/ROMs/XDA/Artemis/PDAMobizThaiEnabled_v2.2.WM5.cab.
It works fine with every WM5, 6, 6.1 Professional.
All you need is to install it AND get yourself a (free) Thai Keyboard for your device.
There is a Free one available from Lingvosoft, which is able to switch between Thai and English keyboard layout.
I'm sorry I cannot find the link right now, but I promise to update, as soon as I can!

Hey there all,

I am using a HTC touch HD, running window mobile 6.5 pro; and with Google translate only get squares.

Dammed if i can find the Thai font on my laptop which works fine, to copy and paste when synched.

All help appreciated, as local shop wanted 800 Baht, got them down to 400,...
Then hoped someone here might have a download solution for free

Cheers Allan

Tahoma, Cordia, Cordia New, MS Sans Serif. Depends, though, what you have on your laptop.

If you open MS Word and select Thai as your encoding, does it only show Thai fonts when you choose a font? I don't know as I don't use it.
