Hello,

If you use a word that it is an alternate spelling in the bulk lookup, the result claims that the alternate spelling is an alternate spelling of itself, not what it is actually an alternate spelling of. It is then not linked to the other spelling because (I assume) it does not have its own entry.

For example if you search 'อ้วก' in the bulk lookup (with other words too) the result will be: [alternate pronunciation of อ้วก]

It only takes two seconds to then search it on its own which is why I have never bothered mentioning this before, but I thought you might like to know.

*edit: actually I thought that 'อ้วก' was the normal spelling so maybe the problem is that it is showing this when searching anything with an alternate spelling. I will try and think of something else with an alternate spelling and test that out.

Thank you for pointing that out.

If the individual word with the alternative pronunciation is selected, you will see the vocabulary item with its primary and alternative spellings and pronunciations, if any. The reference for the "alternative" should point back to the original, but I see that in some cases it does not.

We will put this issue on the list for future improvements.
