ELCB in house electrics

Postby bahtman » Tue Jan 11, 2022 4:01 am

Is there a specific Thai phrase for Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker?
Or do they only use and understand 'ELCB'?

Thanks for the youtube link. They list it as

I've since found Mitsubishi describe it as เบรกเกอร์ป้องกันไฟดูด Apparently ป้อง is 'to protect'

Interesting that there's no สายดิน anywhere, for earth/ground in the Thai word, as an ELCB detects a small leak to earth, rather than just an overload current.
