some help needed here.....

Postby allesandro » Sat Jan 28, 2012 4:37 am

Hello there everyone...could I get a little help with the translation for the below sentence?

Thanks everyone in advance. :)

"When we love somebody, if he or she tells us to stop up on tiredness or fatigue, it means that he or she is not going to do anything to rejouvenate us or to change. ..... If not, you had better leave. "

Thanks Khun Pirin for your explanation. To be more precise, does it mean to imply the following:

"When we love someone, if he or she tells us to stop (I would assume this will refer to a relationship?) because of tiredness or fatigue, it means that he or she is not going to do anything to rejuvenate us or to change.....if that is the case, then you (referring to ownself?) had better leave."

Thanks.... :)

This is roughly what is said in the Thai version:

"To love somebody, if he or she tells us to stop upon tiredness or fatigue (to stop the relationship as soon as we find that the one we love makes us feel tired or uncomfortable), it means that he or she is not going to do anything to rejuvenate us or to change. By contrast, he or she takes it for granted that we should end up choosing to be with him or her or looking for another one who, we think, is not going to make us feel tired. In other words, his or her love is the situation in which we have to accept its outcome. Therefore, if we are prepared to bear all about the one we love, we should stay with him or her. If not, we had better leave."
