I have a question. Maybe somebody can help me translate the dialog that is written in the attached image.
It was on a facebook page of a Thai friend and I would like to understand what it is about.

this is my attempt - you have to consider that I am a beginner and it might not be very correct:


B: What are you doing?
A: sleeping
B: [something like:] oh nice.... comfortable/good
A: I'm enjoying it
B: Oh you're lazy (a lil bit impolite, but ok with friends)

The last sentence is too tough for me, but other people will definitely translate it for you later on!

instead of i'm enjoying it --> you like to chill a lot

according to my friend the last sentence should have the following meaning:

U r lazy, u will be in trouble in the future

U r lazy, u will be in trouble in the future

The lazy one is the one lying down. ไอ้สันหลังยาว he with the long backbone, อีกหน่อยคงเจริญแหละ in a little while you are likely to make progress.
In other words; You lazy so and so you're very likely to make a success for sure. Sarcasm is what it is, but it looks like the wrong person saying it.

A. You lazy devil that's going to get you somewhere for sure.

My mind is truly boggled by this. I must remember not to bother with comics.
There maybe something to be got from this post though.
In สันหลังยาว it appears that ความยาว is taken to be a horizontal measurement, suggesting that by measuring his spine in horizontal terms the chap is always in the horizontal, therefore lazy. Is there another reason?
