No, I don't think this should have any hidden meaning.

Anyway, if you can provide context, we might know what's it supposed to mean.

Thanks for reply Nan. I thought this might be a common saying, but obviously it is not. I tried but I can't find the context any more, because it was not on the web, but in chat a few days ago.
