The sentence contains several typos.

A typical translation of husband is สามี but not ผัวก้. A tone mark set on a final consonant is very unusual for not saying ungrammatical.

I wish that I could explain it! Conversation one has to make the best of.
ผัวไม่รัก is simple enough.
ต้องทำตัวให้เด็กลง I think that ตัว means ตน 'me'.
Why and what ก้ is there for and why ก้ which would be said longer, I don't know, but there are two sentences and I take it to be linking the two. สามี has a reason for not loving me.

Normally I think that the situation is placed first and the solution second:
สามีไม่รัก ฉันก็จะทำให้ตนดูสาวกว่า .

It could be:

1. ผัวกูไม่รัก ต้องทำตัวให้เด็กลง

ผัว is not a polite word. So does "กู". "ผัวกู" = my husband.

2. ผัวก็ไม่รัก ต้องทำตัวให้เด็กลง

"ก็" means "also". This could mean 1. above or someone who is not the wife speaking this to her. For example, her friend.

OMG montyb! ผัว is totally an okay word. In fact I rarely hear สามี-ภรรยา spoken. I hear ผัว/เมีย spoken way more. The words are just used informally and with people you know. Which means it's routinely used on F/B and in chat-sa-peak thai almost 100% of the time..

It's the same as กู/มึง (I/you), they are so pervasive today on ANY forum and spoken quite a LOT in real life too when you're with people you know very well.. It's not impolite it's colloquial and used informally among people you know. Although for some reason thais are reticent to spell it out and will often misspell it on porpoise , err on purpose as กรู in forums.

On that chat rip, she's saying ผัวก็, because the ไม้โท ้ and the ไม้ไต่คู้ ็ are the same key. She just forgot to "shift" ....

Anyway, it's worth to mention that it's still really impolite. What I mean by impoliteness is you should not use it with someone who are not familiar with. And on public forum, there are always some readers who don't know you, right?
Suffice to say that whoever use ผัว/เมีย, กู/มึง on public forum, it's only mean they don't know what a good manner is. And (sorry to say this, but it's true) that only means they are uneducated or illiterate. So, please be aware about this.
