ประสาทแดก

Postby daฟาน » Thu Jan 19, 2012 12:57 pm

what does it mean?

i waslooking for a word for "being nervous" in the dictionary and found ประสาทแดก. when I checked another dictionary that one showed "being crazy" as the definition for ประสาทแดก

does it have both meanings? is one of the dictionaries wrong?

how would you say nervous? (not in the sence of เขิล อาย but for example being nervous because you have to do a big presentation - is ประหม่า good for that sense?)
I just talked to a friend both อาย and ประหม่า seem to work quite ok, but I'm still งง with ประสาทแดก

ประสาทแดก is often used in the meaning of "being crazy" or "freaking out".

"Being nervous" can be "กังวล", "สั่น", "ประหม่า" or sometimes "ประสาท" if it's a little bit serious.

Khun Ohmmo, this ที seems to be idiomatic and your translation is quite interesting.
Is that use of ที common ?
Thank you very much in advance !

it says ประมาตรสทธ 1 ลตร

unfortunately I don't understand a word of it, but at least you can copy it now ^^

looks like there is a spelling mistake and it means ลิตร - 1 liter?

google suggests the following: ปริมาตรสุทธิ 1 ลิตร (same letters like you but it added vowels and it translates it as "the net volume of 1 liter" does that make any sense?)

Not literally that would be แดดประสาท.
I would remember it as it is in English; 'eaten up'= absorbed or preoccupy , eaten up with nerves.
