I heard it on New Year's Eve when we were releasing โคมไฟ ("kom-fai" --those fiery hotter-than-air floats that climb into the air).

Whatever มั้นเค้ยว ("mon-kee-o") means, none of the Thais I asked know how to say it in English. One suggested that it is related to "entertainment" and that this is not its correct spelling. (I hope it isn't lewd! )

My wife says that to me, she gets a 'glint' in her eye. She doesn't mean it in a cute way, it's usually followed by a slap or a pinch!

The kids/dogs/cat get it as well, I've always assumed it meant that she's up for a fight! (not a real fight, just a play fight).

She use it alot and also ตีคนแก่เลย or just ตีเลย, when I don't do as she wants

i think right word should be "หมั่นเขี้ยว"

Thai people said that when they see something or someone ... So cuteeee like we want to hug, what to play with.(Mostly we use with Children or baby or puppy)

Sometime we said when we angly like we want to punish or hit or injure someone.
