According to either superstitious remarks or medical information, the symptom of "โรคทองแดง" or "ทองแดง" is not related to the animal called "ทองแดง" at all.
Anyway, I had better not translate what they say about "โรคทองแดง" in the links; besically, a friend, who is a doctor, might try to avoid talking about it or tell me to ask google should I ask him what "โรคทองแดง" is.
