Visa related Translations

Postby g4orce » Sat Jan 28, 2012 4:04 am

I am currently working on an Application so that my Thai Finance can move to Australia on a long term basis so we can marry and start to make a family together. The problem I have is that there is a language barrier at times where it can be hard to explain to her what I am trying to say.

It would be great if someone could translate a few things for us:
The House book - or Tabien Baan, how is that writin in Thai?
Certification - how is it said and writen in Thai
and Single Status Certificate - is there a name for that in Thai?

I have had a long search for these works/term and unable to find it anywhere so any help would be great.

Thankyou in advance for your help

The German Consulate General has a website in Thai containing information: http://www.thaigeneralkonsulat.de/th/co ... gkeit.html

The terms you might want for Certification of Single Status are:

หนังสือรับรองโสดไม่เคยแต่งงานมาก่อน (for those who have never been married) and
หนังสือรับรองโสดหลังการหย่า (for those who have been divorced)
หนังสือรับรองโสดหลังคู่สมรสเสียชีวิต (for those who are widowed)
