What's the Thai equivalent of saying "No hurry."

Hi Naga,

I have to think twice before replying this. I mean at the first look, it should be just translated as "ไม่รีบ"

A: จะเอาเมื่อไหร่ครับ? (When will you want it done?)
B: (ผม) ไม่รีบ (เอา) หรอก (I'm in no hurry.)

"ไม่รีบ" in the above context means the speaker is not in hurry to have it done/get it back.

However, if there's "ต้อง" as in "ไม่ต้องรีบ" (also "no hurry" in English), it means the speaker tells the listener to do it at his convenience.
For example:
อย่าห่วง ไม่ต้องรีบ (ใช้เวลา) ตามสบาย (No worry. No hurry. Take your time.)

So, my answer is "ไม่รีบ" or "ไม่ต้องรีบ", depends on its context.

It could just be "Tgeezer-thai".

But who am I to throw stones, I speak a version of thai I call "Todz-Thai". ..

I am hearing the english word "hurry" spoken by thais as ไม่ต้อง hurry, (although I was unable to back it up with a google.. )

Just a question there Tgeezer, why do you put สิ on the end of อย่ารีบสิ <- to me that's not a "don't hurry on my account" but more "DON'T rush!" I thought สิ was one step lower than ซะ on the order of changing a request into a command, I thought they went หน่อย-สิ-ซะ..

I think because the person has to do as I say and is doing it on my account, caddy for instance. I always say สิ if I have to ask twice too, เอาลูกใหม่สิ after I have hit one in the water and he doesn't expect me to take a second off the tee.
