Cambridge School of Languages
Just opposite Funan IT mall at North Bridge Road

http://www.cambridge.com.sg/

National University of Singapore is offering Thai language courses too.

By the way, I think NTU has them too. Just give them a ring to find out... ;)

If the above are too formal for you, you can try
Thai Christian Churches in Singapore

These are the addresses:
Victory Family Centre Assemby of God - Toa Payoh Lor. 4
Chen Li Presbyterian Church - 76 Guillemard Road
Life Bible Presbyterian Church - 9 - A Gilstead Road
Thai Good News Center - 5001 Beach Road, Goden Mile Complex

Incidentally, you may try Thai Wat in Singapore:
Thai Buddhist Temple
50B Jln Bt Merah Singapore 169545
Tel : 6272-4240

Palelai Buddhist Temple Tel : 443 3324
( Thai Buddhist Temple ) 242 0746
49 Bedok Walk
Singapore 469145

Anywhere near your place? :)

Hi Khun Chris, you've misunderstood my last post. As I implied informal, I meant may be you could pickup some good self-study materials instead of undergo formal training, at the same time visit these Wat to get to know the native speakers there, from there you would not just be learning at you own pace but also pick up contemporary Thai in a very practical way.

Strangely enough, sometimes language is best learned outside the classroom. Here is an interesting site you should visit How-to-learn-any-language.com

I'm sure you'll be able to pick up a trick or two from there.

Cheers.
