My Name translation

Postby godfrey5907 » Fri Aug 24, 2012 6:03 pm

Hi,

I am a Chinese. I just recently met and fallen in love with a Thailand girl, a friend whom I came to know through facebook.
I was wondering how to translate my name. I was looking through the list of popular names but can't really find them. I am pretty much interested in learning so as a mean of communication with her. Both of us were attracted to each other and she is learning some Chinese language too.
I am glad that I found this website. I will start learning but for now, I wish to know my name in Thailand writing. Hope someone can help me see this through. Thanks in advance.

My name : Godfrey Chu Sim Tsin

Godfrey Chu Sim Tsin = กอดฟรี ชู ซิม ซิน

A little unsure about the last word and how to translate the Ts into Thai.

Sorry for requesting another favor from you guys but I wanted to get these sentences below translated. I tried cracking my brains over the words, still don't get the hang of it. Hope you guys can provide me help.

Here are the sentences : =>
What I wanted to say to you the other night was :
"I wish I could change my yesterday so that I would have fallen in love with you earlier. Truth is, yesterday was already a history, nothing can be done to change it".
"We can only plan what we want to achieve for tomorrow. What actually will take place remains a mystery. A lot of possibilities will happen".
"That is why I will not spend my time thinking about the past which I cannot change nor tomorrow which is too uncertain".
"Rather, I would want to spend my time wisely now with you to unwrap 'the gift' of love we both just received, treasuring the bonds and feelings we had just build for each other."
"That is why, the gift today is called 'the present'."

That's about it. Thank you in advance again guys. I just noticed that donations can be made to the site. I will make a donation to the site once I go back to my country. It pays to learn. ^^

Looks like You are deeply in love with this Thai girl. Do one thing, write and send her into English and tell her to decode it. That would be more interesting moment when she would be unwrapping each word and will be happy when translates it completely.

I think Godfrey should be กอดฟรีย์ with ย์. Because this name already has Thai standard spelling.
For example: กอดฟรีย์แห่งบูยง (Godfrey de Buillion) http://th.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B8%81% ... 2%E0%B8%87

By the way, กอดฟรี with no ย์ is ambiguous. กอดฟรี literally means "free hug". :)

What are the Chinese characters for your Chinese name?

I think is a better representation of "ts-".
