กะทิ ๑ /กะ-ทิ/
[นาม]	น้ำที่คั้นออกจากมะพร้าวขูดโดยเจือน้ำบ้างเล็กน้อย, ถ้าคั้นจากเนื้อมะพร้าวขูดล้วนๆ เรียกว่า หัวกะทิ, ของหวานทำด้วยน้ำตาลกวนกับมะพร้าวคล้ายหน้ากระฉีก แต่ใช้น้ำตาลมากกว่า เรียกว่า น้ำตาลกะทิ, มะพร้าวห้าวที่มีน้ำข้น เนื้ออ่อนกล้ามหนา เรียกว่า มะพร้าวกะทิ.
[วิเศษณ์]	โดยปริยายหมายความว่า ที่ดีเด่นเป็นพิเศษ เรียกว่า หัวกะทิ.
