I do not know whether the air pollution and noise pollution in Bangkok have been reduced or not; nor do I know whether more people are walking to where they want to go, if they don’t have to go too far.
I don’t know whether people are using public transportation more; nor do I know whether a higher portion of the customers of public transportation is composed of persons from a higher economic status or not.
However, I do believe that the reduction in (the number of) vehicles on Bangkok roads produces much more in the way of good than the fact that there are (fewer) traffic jams.
