Most people are already aware of the deleterious effects of fixing the price of goods and believe that in the end (price fixing) will only intensify the negative impact on their cost of living.

That is because when pricing mechanisms are imposed at the beginning of the year, (prices will) then be set to explode upward in the second half of the year. (These prices) will follow the cost of oil and (other) raw materials which only tend to increase and give no indication of remaining where they are.

There are two ways of adjusting the price of products, if you do not directly increase the price: either you can reduce the (product's) weight or its size.

Today, the Thais must accept that prices are a function of market mechanisms so that when the prices of goods rise, they must (learn to) increase their savings (habits).

However, if (the government) holds down the prices of goods during the first half of the year only for the purpose of hoping to (cater to a streak of) Populism, followed by an explosion in the second half, the psychological effect on purchasing will be enormous.
