| notes | จ๊ะ has mixed uses. A person with higher status uses จ๊ะ to speak with another who is younger or with lower status. For example, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit always uses จ๊ะ (and จ้ะ) when conversing with her subjects. For a more common use, a younger person or the one with lower status can reply to the speaker with higher status using จ๊ะ as well. So จ๊ะ is used interchangeably. | ||
